Three-part oral mirror set
More and more oral photography belongs to the dental
results documentation (photo documentation) in all areas of dental studies. The
photographs serve on the one hand as information and motivation for the patient
and on the other hand are an important implement for the planning of treatment,
for the reappraisal during treatment and for the final and subsequent results.
Oral photography is in addition to this forensically valuable.
A common photostatus
usually consists of five photographs (front, left and right side, upper jaw and
lower jaw of occlusal surface).
Technical features:

Material of the mirror holder: Glass, optically
cut and polished surfaces.
Advantage:
in contrast to metal mirrors there are no visible polishing scratches. Thanks
to the polished surface, even the detailed magnifications turn out pin sharp.

Vaporisation: The surface of the glass is
vaporised with a special layer of rhodium. The process of vaporisation takes
place under high vacuum at temperatures of about 250° C. Advantages: very hard
reflection layer, high reflection and good colour neutrality. Rhodium-mirrors
are resistant to a multitude of acids, basic solutions, chemicals, etc.

Care instructions:

Sterilisation: autoclaving and ETO gas
sterilisation possible.

Disinfection: with customary disinfectants

Cleaning: use soft cotton cloth with alcohol or
a common washing-up liquid

The mirrors are stuck together at the back with an
angled handhold.
Material of the mirror holder: cast aluminium,
plasticized.
Material of the mirror: Glass, thickness 3 mm, surface
mirrored with rhodium.
